Notifications
Weather alerts are most useful before frost, heat, or storms — push notifications help you act in time.
Setup
- Settings → Notification preferences
- Follow the activation card (grant browser permission on web; Android notification permission in the app)
- Sign in for full push delivery across devices (guests have limited notification features)
Controls
- Alert categories — frost, heat, storms, rain, and more
- Critical-only mode — fewer, higher-priority alerts
- Quiet hours — suppress non-urgent alerts overnight
- Reminder timing — how far before a deadline you're reminded
Notification types
Weather advisories — Imminent weather risks
Morning garden digest — Daily summary (when enabled)
Care reminders — Watering/feeding deadlines
Deadline reminders — Nudge before an alert window closes
