The dashboard is your daily command center. Visible cards depend on Experience mode.

Core cards

Weather

Current conditions, forecast, and location label. Stale or degraded weather shows a banner when cache is old or the provider is temporarily unavailable.

Upcoming & active alerts

Weather-driven alerts (frost, heat, storms, rain, dry spells, and more). Grouped when multiple plants share the same event window. Tap an alert for affected plants and recommended actions.

Plant conditions today

Per-plant status: what needs attention today (water, weather, health signals). Links to plant detail for full context.

My plants (dashboard section)

Quick view of key plants (count depends on experience mode). Drag to reorder when customizing (Active Gardener).

Water Watch

Rain and dry-spell context for watering decisions. Uses precipitation forecast and recent rain.

Rain impact

Summary of how recent or upcoming rain affects your garden.

Customize dashboard

Active Gardener: use Customize to show, hide, and rearrange cards. Hidden cards are not deleted — change anytime via Settings or on-dashboard customize.

Experience modes

Controls how much of the app you see — nothing is removed, only hidden. Change anytime: Settings → Advanced → Experience mode. Use Customize on dashboard or plant pages to toggle individual sections.
